We Are Committed to Protecting Your Privacy!
PRIVACY STATEMENT
SECTION 1 - HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
When you make a purchase from our store, we collect personal information you provide to us, such as your name, address, and email address, as part of the buying and selling process.
While you browse our store, we automatically receive your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, which helps us gather information about your browser and operating system.
Email Marketing (if applicable): With your consent, we may send you emails regarding our store, new products, and other updates.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
How do you obtain my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to finalize a transaction, authenticate your credit card, place an order, arrange for delivery, or return a purchase, we understand that you consent to the collection and use of that information for those specific purposes.
If we seek your personal information for any secondary reason, such as marketing, we will either ask for your explicit consent directly or give you the option to decline.
SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may share your personal information if we are required to do so by law, or if you breach our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is powered by Shopify Inc. They provide the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored using Shopify’s data storage solutions, databases, and the general Shopify application, all of which reside on a secure server protected by a firewall.
Payments:
If you select a direct payment gateway to finalize your purchase, Shopify will store your credit card information. This data is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your transaction data is retained only as long as necessary to complete your purchase; once that is finalized, your transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways comply with the standards set by PCI-DSS, overseen by the PCI Security Standards Council, which involves brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
The PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. For more details, you may wish to review Shopify’s Terms of Service (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) or Privacy Statement (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Generally, third-party service providers we utilize will only collect, use, and disclose your information as necessary to provide the services they offer to us.
However, some third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we must provide them for your purchase-related transactions.
We recommend reviewing their privacy policies to understand how your personal information will be managed by these providers.
Keep in mind that some providers may operate in different jurisdictions than you or us. Therefore, if you proceed with a transaction involving a third-party service provider, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) where that provider or its facilities are located.
For instance, if you are in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway based in the United States, then your personal information related to that transaction may be subject to disclosure under U.S. legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store’s website or are directed to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.
SECTION 6 - SECURITY
To safeguard your personal information, we implement reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure it is not improperly lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
If you provide your credit card details, that information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. While no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, we adhere to all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
